As an educator and librarian, I have worked with high school students for decades. I’ve seen it all and I truly believe that there is a path for everyone and that every student can be successful in their educational pursuits.

With this in mind, I started Write Ahead College to support students through one of the most critical junctures of their school life - the college application process.

I have coached high school students through essay brainstorming and writing and the college application process for more than 10 years. With more than 25 years of experience as a school librarian, I have helped teens formulate, research, and organize ideas, always recognizing the student’s story and voice are paramount.

Adding to this service, I now offer a college counseling to help students through the entire process, including guidance on:

• high school course selection

• identifying optimal summer experiences

• a testing plan

• school selection

• planning school visits

• creating an application strategy

While I’m based in Westchester and Fairfield counties, working online has allowed me to expand services to help students throughout the U.S. No matter where you are located, or what college you are interested in, I can help you present your best self to the admissions committee.
